NEW DELHI: India posted a title-win in triangular series in Australia for the first time.

This Commonwealth Bank series win was India's first in six years since India defeated England in the NatWest Trophy final at Lord's by two wickets on July 13, 2002.

On their part, Australia's reputation took a big blow as they lost four successive finals in the triangular series in Australia. They lost two to England in 2006-07 and now to India in 2007-08.

India, with a win each at Sydney by six wickets and Brisbane by nine runs, have won two Limited-Overs Internationals in a row for the first time against Australia in Australia.
