Narain Karthikeyan honoured

COIMBATORE: First Indian Formula 1 racer, Narain Karthikeyan was on Sunday honoured for his recent A1 GP Feature race victory at Beijing, by the West Zone police.
   
A trophy and gold medal were presented to Narain by K.Vijayakumar, ADGP (Law and Order) Tamil Nadu, during the valedictory function of West Zone Police Public Inter-village Sports festival, here.
   
Narrating the details of sports festival, K Rajendran, IG, West Zone, said that about 85,000 persons from 7,200 villages in the zone, comprising seven districts, participated in the events.
