BANGALORE: The JDS sent letters to President Pratibha Patil and Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur on Saturday requesting them to give an opportunity to form a BJP-JDS coalition government in the state.
"We have sent letters to the President and Governor with a request to give an opportunity to BJP leader B S Yediyurappa to form the BJP-JDS government," former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said here.
He accused the Congress of trying to break JDS and destroy his party.
"Efforts are already underway to form BJP-JDS government in the state," Kumaraswamy said.
