RJD for criminal case against Narendra Modi

NEW DELHI: RJD, a key UPA ally, on Friday demanded a CBI enquiry into the role of BJP in the post-Godhra riots as brought out by the Tehelka sting and institution of criminal case against Chief Minister Narendra Modi for the 'state-sponsored' communal killings.
    
Noting that the incidents were a 'blot' on Indian democracy as also humanity, RJD deputy leader in the Lok Sabha Devendra Prasad Yadav said that he has urged the Union Home Ministry to take action in the light of the sting operation.
    
Condemning the 'genocide planned and executed by top functionaries of the Sangh Parivar and state authorities with sanction of the Chief Minister', he said the voters would give a befitting reply to Modi in the December assembly polls.
