Woman dies after monkey attack

Amroha: A woman died here on Monday when a monkey hit her with a brick in Mandi Dhanora town of Jyotiba Phulenagar district of Uttar Pradesh, police said on Tuesday.

Police said Mamta suffered head injuries when a monkey sitting atop a shop hit her with a brick where she went for shopping. However, her one-and-a-half year old daughter escaped unhurt in the incident. She was rushed to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

Wild boar kills man
Aizwal: A 34-year-old man was reported to have been killed by a wild boar. Lalramliana, resident of Mizoram-Manipur border Vanbawng hamlet and a good hunter, was missing since Friday and his body was finally found in the thick jungle on Sunday. Lalramliana’s knee and neck were broken, eyewitnesses said.

Cow kills man
Sonepat: A cow ran amuck and killed a man at Larsauli village on the GT Road here on Tuesday. Ram Kishan was on his way to work when the cow went berserk and struck him, killing him on the spot, police said. The body has been sent for postmortem, they said.
