Air Arabia to start flights from Bangalore to Sharjah

Air Arabia, the international low-cost airline, announced that it would begin services to Bangalore starting October 15.

BANGALORE: Air Arabia, the international low-cost airline, on Tuesday announced that it would begin services to Bangalore starting October 15.
    
The flights would operate four times per week between Bangalore and Sharjah, the airline said in a release.
    
Flights to Bangalore would leave Sharjah at 2250 hrs local time and arrive in Bangalore at 0420 hrs local time. Return flights would depart from Bangalore at 0505 hrs local
time and arrive at Sharjah at 0750 hrs local time.
    
"Our rapidly expanding route destination network between India and the Middle East answers a growing need for passengers travelling between the two economically vibrant
regions,"  said Air Arabia Commercial Director Kyle Haywood.
    
The frequency of flights is expected to increase by the end of this month, it said.
    
Bangalore is the ninth destination for the airline in India and 37th globally. Currently Air Arabia, connects Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Kochi, Mumbai, Nagpur and
Thiruvananthapuram to the Gulf. The airline started operations to Coimbatore on October 1.
