MUMBAI: Star India said on Friday its decision to move 'Nach Baliye' from Star One to Star Plus had proved to be a huge success.
More than 20 million viewers from across the country tuned in to 'Nach Baliye 3', since its launch last week.
The first week's studio performance episode, which aired on September 21 for nearly two hours, burst through the TRP scales entering the charts with ratings of 10.8 at its peak and average of 6.3 over 2 hours.
The show has shown a whopping 141 per cent growth in the 8 pm to 10 pm slot with 53 per cent growth in reach.
Prem Kamath, VP Marketing & Communication, Star India Pvt. Ltd, said "In the third season, with the shift to Star Plus the challenge for us was to reach out to maximum viewers. Through our highly unique marketing campaign we were able to catch a whopping 20 million eye balls. The potent combination of scale and innovation, like spots on the 20-20 world cup, worked fabulously for us.''
