NEW DELHI: The CPI today condemned the attack on the residence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's daughter Selvi in Bangalore allegedly by Sangh Parivar activists.
In a statement, CPI National Secretary D Raja said all democratic forces should condemn the attempt by saffron forces to communalise the Sethu issue. The party said the Sethu project was a developmental project.
Suspected Sangh Parivar activists last night attacked the house of Selvi for her father's remarks against Lord Ram.
A 50-member strong group, raising slogans against Karunanidhi for his remarks on Lord Ram and Ram Sethu, pelted stones and damaged window panes of the house, police said.
