LONDON: Prince Harry's girlfriend Chelsy Davy, who recently moved to Britain from South Africa so that she could be closer to her Royal love, has finally signed up for a post-graduate law course at Leeds University.

The 21-year-old Zimbabwean-born blonde, who met Harry three years back in Cape Town, is thought to have arrived in the city on Sunday night after helping the Prince celebrate his 23rd birthday, 'The Daily Telegraph' reported here on Tuesday.

After arriving at the University on Monday morning, she met a friend for coffee at a cafe opposite the campus before enrolling for the course and subsequently attending a welcome meeting in the law faculty, the daily said, without revealing its sources.

"Leeds will be perfect for Chelsy. She has been with Haz (Prince Harry) for three years now but they have never lived in the same continent, let alone country. Chelsy has several friends at Leeds and it will be great for her to spend weekends with her man who is based in Windsor," 'The Sun' had earlier reported, quoting one of Harry's friends as saying.

Davy had earlier showed her reluctance to move to the United Kingdom from Cape Town because of the cold weather despite Harry's repeated demands that both should live in the same European nation.

"Chelsy really doesn't like the cold and wet of England. She would rather stay in Cape Town where it is beautiful all year round. But this is the only way she and Haz can move to the next level. They can't go on with the mother of all long-distance romances," her friend had told the British tabloid.

Chelsy decided to continue her studies after performing well in the economics and politics degree she took at Cape Town University. She graduated in December but since then has spent most of her time travelling with brother Shaun.
