Beer bar owner and 14 bar girls arrested

MUMBAI: In a continuation drive to curb obscenity in beer bars across the city, police arrested a beer bar owner and 26 others including 14 bar girls yesterday for allegedly indulging in obscene activities in Commando Bar at Andheri in the western suburbs. 

Acting on a tip-off that the waitresses in Commando Bar have been indulging in obscenity, a police party raided the bar and arrested the owner of the bar, Arvind Shetty (41) and 26 others. These include 14 waitresses, two watch-men, seven waiters and three customers, the police said.
