The ever popular rock band guarantees a crazy concert in India next month and trails off on some of their milestones.

It’s the fights, the inconsistencies, set backs and the past turmoils that have fuelled the band with crazy energy to keep going. Their Indian gig might just be the most insane one so far. “This is the first time we are playing in India! We hope that this will be a good show. We are sure everyone will have an awesome time at the concert. And of course being asked to play in India will surely be an event we won’t forget,” assures rock band Aerosmith’s frontman Steven Tyler. They are slated to play a concert in Palace Grounds in Bangalore on June 2.

This rock ‘n’ roll band has been together for more than three decades changing the line-up a couple of times, but never compromising on creating some extraordinary music. “We have had a lot of turmoil in our past.  Come to think of it, we still do.  But we’ve all gotten better at expecting it and not being driven off the rails by it.  Just believe in yourself and you will sail through,” he reflects.

Aerosmith’s Indian fascination spills over to Indian movies and music. “Indian music is just wonderful. It speaks the language of the soul and is just brilliant. We are aware of some of the genres of Indian music and artistes like Pandit Ravi Shankar.  We know there is a world famous music and movie scene in India and we are sure that its growing influence will continue,” says drummer Joey Kramer.

They confess the high level of lunacy that one can witness during their shows and have absolutely no formula for sticking together for so many years as a band. “All our concerts are crazy! We are crazy. Talking about staying together, there are very few bands of our generation who are together and still around. It’s a great thing in fact. We do fight. Yes, but what is more important is to keep that flow of dialogue open,” says Steven.

The band will be releasing their studio album and will be working on their new tracks after this tour.
