Western Railway to operate mega block

Only four local trains will run from 10.55 pm on Saturday to 7.30 am on Sunday between Borivali and Virar following a mega block at Bhayandar due to quadrupling of tracks.

MUMBAI: Only four local trains will run from 10.55 pm on Saturday to 7.30 am on Sunday between Borivali and Virar following a mega block at Bhayandar due to quadrupling of tracks.
  
Due to quadrupling of tracks, two long distance trains for Sunday will leave from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus via Vasai Road and two trains will leave from Vasai Road instead of Mumbai Central, a Western Railway spokesperson said here.
  
The 9039 Muzaffarpur Avadh Express, which departs at 0020 hours and 2927 Vadodara Express which departs at 0035 hours will leave from CST.
 
Passengers boarding at Borivali are requested to catch the train from Dadar or Vasai Road.
 
The 241 Ahmedabad Passenger, which departs at 0005 hours and 9011 Gujarat Express, which departs at 7.30 am, will leave from Vasai Road.
 
The Bandra-Surat Intercity Express is rescheduled at 11 am instead of 6.50 am, the spokesperson added.
