MUMBAI: An 18-year-old youth was charred to death in a fire at a factory at Dindoshi in the Western suburbs.
Ravindra alias Ravi Laxman Prasad, an employee of a hair pin manufacturing factory, sustained cent per cent burn injuries in the fire that broke out on Monday evening. He was taken to Bhagwati Hospital, where doctors declared him dead before admission, Fire Brigade sources said.
At around 6 pm, the fire broke out in the factory, due to a short circuit, sources added.
