CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu has put caution before celebration over the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal award, as Karnataka will discuss formalities of a review petition at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

Opposition AIADMK leader and former chief minister J Jayalalithaa, meanwhile, asked Karunanidhi to move the Supreme Court to get a bigger share of the Cauvery waters.
The first sign of TN’s guarded approach came when chief minister M Karuananidhi, who expressed his "extreme happiness" to reporters in Delhi on Monday afternoon, dubbed the award a "consolation" soon after he reached Chennai on Tuesday evening.
