Dinesh Yadav transferred to Agra after his confessions on his relations with Moninder

NEW DELHI: Another Noida police officer faced disciplinary action, a day after a sting operation by a TV channel exposed his “favourable relations” with the Nithari serial killers. Officials said Dinesh Yadav, DSP, was transferred to the 14 battalion of the controversial Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), in Agra.

The Uttar Pradesh administration has already suspended and dismissed six of its personnel, including two IPS officers, for improper handling of the Nithari murder investigations. “We were surprised on hearing about the transfer.

Though no explanation was offered in the order, we suspect it was due to his on-camera confession about his misdoings in the Nithari probe,” said a subordinate of Yadav.

While the UP administration is busy cleaning the mess made by its police officials in the probe, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) allowed some of the victim’s family members to have a glimpse the of the killer duo in their office. The CBI also took around 50 family members to the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) for DNA tests.

The family members were surprised when CBI sleuths asked them to come to AIIMS.

“We were first to taken to an office and we were allowed to see both Moninder Singh Pandher and Surinder Koli.  We were scared and furious when we saw Pandher walking freely in front of us,” said Ram Kishan, whose 3-year-old son Harsh went missing last year. Later, they were taken to AIIMS.
