PUNE: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, an accused in the 1993 serial bomb blasts case, on Sunday visited two famous temples in the city.

A TADA court in Mumbai had allowed Dutt to visit Pune for three days from October 22 to offer prayers at Balaji and Dagdu Seth Ganesh temples in the city.

The actor, accompanied by his friends, was inside the Dagdu Seth Ganesh temple in the heart of the city for about 10 minutes. He later visited the Balaji temple.

Dutt is awaiting verdict in the blasts case which is expected after Diwali vacation. Designated Judge P D Kode is giving verdict in phases and till now over 50 accused have been convicted in the 13-year-old case.

The actor has also been permitted to visit Delhi on October 25 and 26 to meet his ailing lawyer Rajendra Singh.

Dutt has been warned by the court not to make any contact with absconding accused in the case.

He would be filing details of his visits to Pune and Delhi with the court registrar as per judicial direction.
