'It is after all the month of Ramzan'

Rakshanda Khan may have a choc-a-block work schedule but that hasn’t stopped her from being her devout self. She preferred keeping her birthday celebrations a low key affair. “It is after all the month of Ramzan,” says Rakshanda, who brought in her birthday on Wednesday in the company of a select few friends and family.

But she is quick to point out that she’ll throw a bash next month to make up for it.

So what is it that she would have loved to get on her birthday?  In her trademark jovial manner, she quips, “A hot and extremely good looking guy.”

On the work front, Rakshanda is busy with the event management company that she’s just started. “On a serious note, my best gift would be my company doing well. I have now realised that acting is a lot easier than running a company, especially one that organises events. There’s so much more responsibility on my shoulders now,” she observes.

That said, she’s very excited about the first few events that are due in the months of November-December. “Firstly, there’s the launch of an energy drink in November. That will be followed by the  Kenya leg of Himesh Reshammiya’s tour in December,” she says.
