Priyan to launch a newspaper

The filmmaker wants to fulfill his father's dream.

Filmmaker Priyadarshan is planning to launch an entertainment-based newspaper. Though it will be circulated in the South only, it will cover entertainment news from all over the country.

"It was my father's dream to start a newspaper. I am finally able to fulfill that dream," Priyan says. On a lighter note he adds, "This is my way of getting back at all those people who wrote bad things about me. Also, the critics who panned my film, better watch out!"

The prolific filmmaker reveals that gossip, of course,  will  be an integral part of the paper, but the exact format is still to be worked out. "It is still at a baby stage," he says.

Sridhar Pillai (of 'The Hindu' fame) and art director Saboo Cyril will assist Priyan.
