The video from celebrity Paris Hilton’s self-titled debut album, ‘Stars Are Blind’, has been declared a hit worldwide. But for her fans in India, here’s some bad news. As the video has been given an ‘A’ certificate by the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC), it won’t be aired on any of the television music channels.

The album, released on Warner Music, is being marketed and distributed in India by EMI Music. Says an EMI spokesperson, “The video has received a phenomenal response abroad, much ahead of the August 22 international album release.

The fact that the video can’t be played on Indian television channels is a huge setback, considering Paris’s popularity among celebrity watchers.” In India, the album is being launched in association with Clinic All Clear Shampoo, and the video can actually be seen on its website www.clinicallclear.com
