Flights diverted from Mumbai

MUMBAI: All incoming flights to Mumbai were on Tuesday diverted, while outgoing flights were running behind schedule due to poor visibility and flooding of the runway following heavy rain, airport officials said.
 
Due to flooding of runways, all incoming flights have been diverted since noon, the officials said.
 
In the morning, outgoing flights had been delayed by 30 minutes to one hour due to poor visibility, they said.

An agency report said some flights for Mumbai were diverted to Ahmedabad following heavy rains.

Ahmedabad Airport Director H D Avasthi said a few Jet Airways, Air
Sahara and Air India flights were diverted to Ahmedabad.

Three flights of Jet Airways, one of Sahara and two of Air India were diverted to Ahmedabad, airport sources said.
