Were you surprised when you won?
Yes, I was quite taken aback. This is the second time in a row I’ve bagged the award. It was quite shocking. I didn’t expect it at all. In fact I did not even inform my parents about it.

What’s your style statement?
To be cool and comfortable in whatever I wear. And have an attitude both on and off the ramp.

Do you think you deserved the award this year?
I’ve been working very hard to get where I am and I think I deserved it. I pay a lot of attention to the clothes and the overall appearance when I am on the ramp and I think I do justice to them.

Who is your favourite designer?
I really can’t pinpoint one designer. But I love Shahab Durazi’s outfits; his creations are timeless. I also love Nikhil and Shantanu’s clothes.

To look stunning…
You have to have the confidence in whatever you wear. Of course, it is also important to have a great body to look good.

Fashion to you means…
I’m quite experimental with what I wear. To be fashionable, you need to be ‘complete’ from head to toe — including your bags and shoes.
