India 'A' elect to bat against UAE

ABU DHABI: India A captain Venugopala Rao won the toss and elected to bat against United Arab Emirates in the Eurasia Series six-nation limited overs cricket tournament here on Sunday.
 
India made two changes to the team that beat Pakistan A in the final Group A match of the first league phase.
    
S Badrinath and Reetinder Singh Sodhi made way for Abhishek Jhunjhunwala and Shib Shankar Paul in the first Group C clash of the second league phase.

India A: Venugopala Rao (captain), Robin Uthappa, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Dinesh Kaarthick, Abhishek Jhunjhunwala, Ravinder Jadeja, Piyush Chawla, Vikram Rajvir Singh, Rudra Pratap Singh and Shib Shankar Paul.
 
United Arab Emirates: Arshad Ali (captain), Amjad Javed, Abdul Rehman, Saqib Ali, Khurram Khan, Fahad Usman, Mohammad Tauqir, Sameer Zia, Zahid Saha, Ali Asad and Naeemuddin Aslam.
