In March, both private and public banks in India will be closed for a total of 14 days, following the Reserve Bank of India's holiday schedule across different regions.

Banks in various states will be closed in March for 14 days due to festivals, second/fourth Saturdays, and Sundays. Second/fourth Saturdays and Sundays see all branches closed, while festival holidays adhere to a list issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
Regional holidays affect only banks in the respective state or region. Nevertheless, customers can still access online banking services during bank holidays.

March 8 (Friday): Mahashivratri (Maha vad-13)/Sivarathri (Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, Srinagar, and Thiruvananthapuram)
March 9: Second Saturday

March 26 (Tuesday): Yaosang 2nd day/Holi (Bhubaneswar, Imphal, and Patna)
March 27 (Wednesday): Holi (Patna)
