Shree Saibaba Sanstha to charge visiting VIPs Rs500 for aarti

Shirdi-based Shree Saibaba Sanstha trust has decided to charge visiting VIPs to the shrine with Rs 500 per person for Kakad Aarti while Rs 300 for other three aarties considering heavy rush.

The charges for arti, darshan will be distributed from March 13 onwards for every thursday, saturday, sunday and three important days - Ram Navmi, Gudi Padwa and Vijaya Dashmi, where there is a huge chunk of devotees pouring in, temple's senior trustee Ashok Khambekar told PTI. 

According to him, the total capacity of devotees in the temple is 1600 and paid pass limits for aarti has been fixed to 140.

VIPs and darshan passes will be made available on charges to the devotees in advance and no prior booking will be made of such passes, Khambekar added.
