Pune cops find six-month-old-baby boy dumped in Guruwar Peth

The Khadak police have registered a complaint against an unidentified couple for allegedly dumping a six-month-old male child in Guruwar Peth area on December 5.

According to the police, on December 5, the Khadak police got a call from the residents of Guruwar Peth saying that someone had dumped a baby in that area.

Later, the Khadak police rushed to the spot and took the child to the police station. The police then contacted other police stations and tried to trace the baby’s parents, but to no avail.

As a result, the police had to hand over the baby to an NGO, Bharat Samaj Kendra, in Koregaon Park. The police are investigating the case further.
