The project aims at increasing awareness about diabetes and obesity amongst children, adolescents and adults across 50 cities in India.

We will be able to reach out to schoolchildren, parents and teachers of various cities through this project.”

The project will be headed by N-DOC chairman Anoop Mishra who said more than 5,00,000 schoolchildren above the age of 10 will be informed of these diseases. The plan will cover around 500 schools that will receive awareness workshops for 18 months, between July 2011 and December 2012.
