Police inspector shoots himself in Mumbai

A police inspector shot himself to death inside the suburban Borivali police station, police said today.
   
The victim, Shivaji Patil (43), who was on duty last night, shot himself with his revolver, police said adding he had left behind a suicide note citing family pressure as the reason behind killing himself.
   
Patil was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
   
The suicide note stated that he was tired of the problems he was facing at home and hence was taking this drastic step, police said.
