A 65-year-old woman, Arifa Iqbal Khan, on Wednesday succumbed to her injuries which she received in a mishap last week.

A 65-year-old woman, Arifa Iqbal Khan, on Wednesday succumbed to her injuries which she received in a mishap last week.
She was hit by a speeding Pune Municipal Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) bus at the Pune railway station on January 6 and was rushed to the Sassoon General Hospital.
The police booked the bus driver identified as Dattatray Sadhu Khedakar (43) of Ranjangaon for rash and negligent driving.
The police said Khan was walking on the footpath near the post office when the bus hit her causing serious injuries.
