Hundreds of Mumbaikars form human chain in protest against blasts

Hundreds of Mumbaikars today joined in a 'human chain' between Zaveri Bazaar and Opera House, sites of Wednesday's serial blasts, demanding action against terrorism.

The participants, carrying placards and shouting slogans, said the suffering that the common man faced due to the spate of blasts in the city must end. At Opera House, they paid tributes to those killed in the blasts.

"Mumbai is standing united in this time of grief and anger and this human chain is a show of strength in this fight against terror," a participant said.
