Dharavi police on Tuesday arrested four persons, including a college student, for allegedly killing a man under the influence of alcohol on Sunday night. “The four were charged with murder for killing Telwan Nadar, a labourer,” said Hemant Patil, senior inspector, of Dharavi police station.
Investigation revealed that the deceased had beaten up one of the accused’s cousin. To take revenge, the foursome accosted Telwan.
A heated argument took place and, in a fit of anger, they hit Telwan with paver blocks and escaped from the spot. Telwan’s body was found on Monday.
