Are you planning on attaching the ‘fashionista’ tag to your image? Then you’ve got to take a look at the Kimaya Boulevard — trunk show that’s come to town to bring to you not only the best deals of the festive season but a collection of 150 designers that will make your jaws drop.

But that’s not all, about 20 new designers, who are not part of the Kimaya usual repertoire, also get the chance to showcase their designs. Vice president - marketing of Kimaya, Bhavana Raheja says that this is a good way to reach out to new designers as well. “Around 20 designers from different parts of the country — Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi — are also part of this trunk show. And if we get positive feedback on their collection after the show is over, we might even incorporate them into the Kimaya family,” she says.

Bangalore-based designer, Yasin Shariff who’s one of the designers showing their collection, is giving Bangalore a peek into his cocktail collection (perfect for the party season, isn’t it?). Using winter colours like beige, grey and some bright shades like yellow and blue, Yasin has tried his hands at something a little different. “I’ve played around with different textures for this particular line. There are a lot of structured clothing and for some, I’ve used suiting fabric and done panelling to create a very interesting look,” he says.

Apart from Yasin, some of the other designers include Namrata G, Amita Sharma, Tanay Goenka, Shrutika Bharadwaj, Satkrit Krishna, Shashi Singh and Anita Lunia.
