Your favourite shopping destination speaks volumes about your personal style and your preferences. From Italy to quaint boutiques in New York and designer shops in London, the stylish women of the city have varied tastes.

Accessory designer, Natasha Poonawalla prefers to shop from ‘the three fashion destinations’ of the world - London, New York and Paris. She says, “I often travel to these places and like to pick up my stuff from there.” She adds, “My personal style is quite experimental and I like to try out new things. So while on one hand, I do have a few favourite boutiques, I definitely like to try out new places especially at these three cities that keep experimenting with their fashion.”

For fashionista Kaykasshan Patel it’s the Bal Harbour in Miami and Bergdorf Goodhan in New York that she loves to shop at. She explains her choice, “You get the best of everything at these two places, whether it is outfits, shoes or accessories and it is all exquisite. They usually pick up the best of stuff from all brands.”

She continues, “In fact, at the Bergdorf Goodman you can also take an appointment with a salesman and he will be your shopping guide for the day. He will take you around on all the floors. It is the shopping experience that I enjoy here. These are not like over-crowded malls.”

Event manager Sharmila Khanna loves to shop at the Village in New York. She loves the place for the unusual stuff that she can buy. She asserts, “To begin with, New York is my favourite city in the world and I love walking on the streets of the city. And if it’s for shopping, then why not?” She adds, “I like to buy anything that is different and unusual.”

Entreprenuer Bhavna Pandey says that it is not just established designers who impress her but also emerging talents who create funky clothes. “I like to shop from these little boutiques where they stock funky stuff by young, upcoming designers, especially in Los Angeles,” says Bhavna. She adds, “I usually wear what is comfy and it necessarily doesn’t have to be a designer wear.”
