Festive special: Chefs concoct drinks specially for Halloween

With Mumbaikars gearing up for a spooky weekend, city-based pubs and restaurants have come up with their own version of Halloween special drinks to create that perfect mood. No party is complete without its drink and food quotient. Similarly, the weekend Halloween parties not only promise to scare the wits out of you with witches, vampires, ghouls and goblins flying all around you, but also provide unique drinks to keep up the tempo. One can indulge in cocktails like Scary Mary, Blood Clot, Ghost 52, Human Blood Cosmo, Human Heart, Eaten Head, Red Devil, Devil Iced Tea, and Vodka Devil Shot. Frankenstein’s blood
(OPA, Juhu)
Ingredients:
Orange 1 sliced
Sugar for rimming glass
Vodka 1 ounce
Triple sec 2 ounces
Orange juice 1 ounce
Strawberry crush
Directions:
Cut a slice of orange around the rim of a chilled martini glass. Dip the rim in sugar and turn until well coated.  Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds, then strain into the rimmed glass. Garnish with blood orange slice and serve.

Scary Mary

Ingredients:
Bacardi 30ml
Tomato juice 10ml
Tabasco sauce 4 drops
Worcestershire sauce 4 drops
A dash of lime juice

Blood clot

Grape fruit syrup 10ml
Cranberry juice 10ml
A dash of lime juice
