Consider this: Brands like Armani, Rohit Bal, Gayatri Ruia, Satya Paul, Swarovski crystals in jewellery, Chanel, Pierre Balmian and many more — all in a garage!

Yes, Natasha Pratap, an Art of Living practitioner for 10 years, has arranged for this one-of-its-kind garage sale at “affordable prices”. An avid traveller, Natasha’s collection comes from the many places she’s been to, including Malaysia, Paris, London, US, and Bali.

The sale boasts of everything from clothes to jewellery, accessories (including, bags, clutches, wallets, watches and “junk”) to shoes. Plus, houseware, upholstery, artworks, CDs and books. “There is something for everyone,” says Natasha as she picks out a beautiful black kantha work saree to show what she actually means.

“Mothers can come with their daughters and buy things for both. Mostly everything is for women, but guys can take a look at the books and CDs or buy something for their mother, girlfriend, sister, wife or daughter,” she laughs.

The prices start from a mere Rs 50 for basic casual tops to Rs 250 for designer tops and skirts. Also, you get bridal wear too. Natasha has dedicated an entire section only of bridal wear for the wedding season.

This is the second year she is conducting this sale. Says Natasha, “It’s not as easy as waking up one morning and saying that ‘let’s keep a sale’. To collect things, see to it that they are in good condition, maintaining them as they are, and also confirm they are as good as new and not used many times, requires a lot of patience and abundant time.”
