1. Denims are very important for a man. However, one must remember to choose something with perfect fit — it shouldn’t be too tight or baggy.
2. I’d call my sense of style classy and I love sporting the classic formal suits. It’s important to have a good collection of formal wear and make sure you carry them off with the right attitude.
3. I love wearing jackets and usually pick them when I am travelling abroad. However, the ones I have can’t be sported often except for winters. So, I save them for the last two months of the year.
4. Now that it’s summer, go all out with cargo pants. They are really comfortable and adds a sense of fun to the whole attire.
5. I love the classic colours black and white. Though I love wearing outfits in other colours too, both these colours top my list.
6. Smelling good is very important. Make sure you have a range of perfumes, just to add some variety. But seriously, the fragrances need to be mild and long lasting. My favourite brands include Ralph Lauren Safari and the Classic 212 perfume by Carolina Herrera.
7. I never leave home without my sunglasses — whether it is summer or winter. It’s important to protect your eyes from the sun to avoid early wrinkles. I recently picked up a pair of Stella McCartney shades from Dubai that looks really cool.
8. As far as other accessories are concerned, I love wearing ties. It looks great on a formal wear and really ups your style quotient a bit. From Salvatore Ferragamo to Valentino, I pick ties from almost all the top brands.
9. I love wearing Chinese collar shirts over the new ones. They look classy.
10. If you like accessories, wear them with the right outfit. Clothes alone don’t make a man. Fashion is also about the accessories you put together because one wrong piece and you can look like a disaster!
