Two girls were seriously injured when unidentified youths allegedly threw acid on them at Dhampur, police said here.
The incident took place yesterday when the victims, Neha Rajput and Jyoti Sharma, both Class 12 students at Radha Inter College, were on their way to attend coaching classes.
Rajput with 70% burn injuries was referred to a Delhi Hospital, they said.
Her father, has lodged a complaint against Ankur and Sanju, of Jeetanpur village alleging that the two had earlier made advances towards his daughter which she had refused.
The youths have been taken into custody.
