Wedding bells toll for 25 couples

At the end of the day, Vina Mulya Amulya Sewa had managed to help 25 men and women find a new life partner. These 25 couples finalised their wedding plans at the swayamvar on Sunday.  

It was a match made in heaven for Kajal and Anand Parikh as they met at the swayamvar,  after spending years of agony and anxiety in their personal lives. "I ended my marriage after some years of emotional distress and it wasn't easy for me to move on. But, I gathered courage and decided to start afresh. I contacted Vina Mulya Amulya Sewa for their help. I wanted to remarry and they were ready to help me. Today, I have found the right partner in Kajal and I am very happy with life," said Anand Parikh, 34, who is a divorcee. 

Kajal, 29, is a widow. She said, "Widows have been looked down upon for many centuries in our country. As a result of social stigma and familial exclusion, a majority of divorced women in India set up their own households and become self-sufficient. But that need for a partner, a strong support always stays within and my family's full support was there with me to remarry. I have finally found my soul-mate."
