Three more persons today died at a hospital taking the toll in the bus mishap in Almora district to 10, police said in Dehradun.
Chief minister Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident, a day after a state-owned bus fell into a gorge at Bhajon area killing seven persons on the spot and injuring several others, officials said.
The chief minister also announced an ex-gratia of Rs50,000 to next of kin of the deceased, they said.
Nishank further directed the officials to provide best medical care to the 22 injured.
