Two petrol pumps ransacked, looted

Two petrol pumps were ransacked and looted in Rajasthan's Sirohi and Bhilwara districts, police said today.

Over a dozen unidentified armed miscreants ransacked a petrol pump in Rewdar town of Sirohi late last night and took away Rupees 1.2 lakh in cash, police said.

"Some 15-20 people reached the petrol pump last night and opened fire at its office. They entered inside and thrashed the two employees who were counting the cash," they said, adding, no one was injured in the firing.
 
In another case, three unidentified persons looted about Rupees 25,000 in cash after thrashing three employees at a petrol pump located on Laxmipura-Mangalpur bypass in Bhilwara district.

Separate cases were registered in the two incidents, police said.
