Two held with explosives in Lucknow

Two persons were arrested with 320 bags of ammonium nitrate and other explosives in Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh, police said here today.

Suryabhan and Satyendra were arrested by police late last night while they were unloading a consignment of explosives from a truck near railway station in Obra area, they said.

Police said 320 bags of ammonium nitrate, 20 gelatin rods and 25 electronic detonators were recovered from the consignment.

Two persons, including owner of the consignment Tauseef, escaped from the spot.
