Three killed by lightning in MP

Three persons, including a boy, were killed and nearly a dozen schoolchildren suffered burns after lightning struck them in two separate incidents in the district, police said.
 
Two farmers working in their field were killed in the lightning at village Shahpur Khurd last evening, they said.
 
In another incident, an eight-year-old boy died and nearly a dozen students suffered burn injuries after lightning struck them close to a school from where they were returning home under Saleha police station area, they added.
 
The injured were rushed to a hospital in the nearby Katni district for treatment, police added.
