Three children charred to dead in Madhya Pradesh

Three children of a family were charred to death after their hut caught fire at Raukheda village in Chhatarpur (MP), police said today.

The mishap occurred late last night after a lantern fell and the fire soon engulfed the hut. The children were asleep while their parents had gone out when the mishap took place.

The deceased have been identified as Lallan, Kachu and Kallu Lodhi - all aged between 7 to 10 years, police said.
