The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) today expressed apprehensions that attempts may be made to create trouble in Hyderabad over the Telangana issue, and put the onus of maintaining law and order on the government.
"There were instances when peace was disturbed in Hyderabad by power-mongers. We were told by media that there may be attempts to trouble common people on the basis of the differences in the ruling Congress," TRS senior leader and former member of Parliament B Vinod Kumar told reporters here.
"It is the responsibility of the government and police commissioner to maintain law and order. TRS is committed to organise its fight for separate Telangana in a peaceful manner," he said.
