Unidentified ultras shot dead their former colleague in Bemina colony of the city, officials said today.
Aijaz Ahmad Dada, a militant who had surrendered, was gunned down outside his house at Usmina Colony Bemina near here by two motor-cycle borne unidentified militants last night, they said.
The militants later fled the scene.
No militant outfit has owned responsibility for the murder so far.
