Anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare's movement has got a unique kind of support from its supporters here, with people expressing their feelings against politicians through currency notes.
For past few days, notes of the denominations of Rs 10, 20 and 50 carrying stamped hate messages against politicians on their blank spaces are in wide circulation across various commercial establishments in the region.
Meanwhile police, which claim to have got the information about it only couple of days back, say they are trying to trace the persons involved in the act.
SP City Ganga Nath Tripathi said efforts are on to find out the origin of the campaign, adding that writing on currency notes is a punishable offence.
