Special surgery helps woman walk in 3 hours!

Sixty-eight year old Sushilaben had trouble walking due to a bad knee. However, a special knee replacement from Chandra Knee Clinic helped her stand on her feet once again, that too in just three hours!

City’s well-known knee replacement surgeon, Dr KC Mehta on October 21 performed this surgery on Sushilaben’s right knee. Most surgeries require patients to stay in hospital for few days but in case of Sushilaben, she was able to climb steps in just 48 hours after the surgery. She was discharged from the hospital in under 60 hours, all this without the help of pain-killers or physiotherapists.

“I was able to move around after 3 hours  and climb 15 steps in the hospital in just two days! I still cannot believe in this miracle,” she said.
