Security drill carried out at prime minister's office

A security drill was conducted at the prime minister's office (PMO) this morning to check the preparedness of various agencies in case of an emergency.

The drill was conducted at around 10 am.

"A 'mock drill' fire broke out at PMO near Videsh Mantralaya (ministry of external affairs)," a text message from Delhi Disaster Management Authority said.

Officials said such exercises are conducted across the capital to check the preparedness of various agencies in case of an emergency.
