Rs 62.82 lakh dividend cheque by DTTDC

The Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) today presented a dividend cheque of Rs 62.82 lakh for the financial year 2008-09 to Lt Governor Tejendra Khanna.

Officials said the DTTDC has made a profit of Rs 3.65 crore in the year and the accumulated profits has reached Rs 54.79 crore as on March 31.

The profit of the corporation has grown steadily in the last couple of years and its gross turnover was recorded at Rs 749.29 crore.

The share holding of Delhi Government in DTTDC, which was established in the year 1975, is Rs 6.28 crore.

The dividend cheque was handed over by DTTDC chairman PK Tripathi.
