Yoga guru Swami Ramdev has said that he may join politics in next two years.

"Joining politics presently is not on cards, but I may do so after two years," Ramdev told reporters in Dharamsala.

He said that his main aim was to bring awareness among the people against corruption.

Ninety nine per cent of the corruption can be weeded out if currency notes of Rs100 and above are banned in the country, he said, claiming even Prime Minister Manmohan Singh agrees to his suggestion.

He said despite huge budget allocation by the Centre for development, results were not visible because of corruption.

Ramdev said that the government should come up with strict laws against corruption.

A lot of money is given to Jammu and Kashmir under special packages but it is not being properly utilised, he alleged.

The Yoga guru is on a four-day visit to Himachal Pradesh where he will hold public meetings in Chamba, Kangra Mandi and Una districts of the state.
