The CID (Crime) has again reconstructed the scene of Tulsi Prajapati's murder near Chhapri village in Ambaji, this time with the help of Ashish Pandya. Last time around, CID had gone for a reconstruction with suspended IPS officer Vipul Aggarwal. Sources have informed that missing links in the case may be revealed after the latest re-enactment.

RK Patel, the investigating officer of CID (Crime) and deputy superintendent of police, told DNA that even though Pandya is not co-operating in the investigations, he was taken to the scene of crime, Ambaji, by the CID team on Thursday afternoon, where he showed the spot where Prajapati was shot. However, he did not answer all the questions of the CID, Patel added.

CID had earlier gone for the reconstruction of the scene of crime along with Aggarwal and other arrested cops, who are currently in Palanpur sub jail. "They had provided a lot of information to the CID which later had to be cross checked with the actual shooters, that is, Ashish Pandya," a CID source said.

However, CID is currently in the process of collecting the collaborative evidence to substantiate the charges levelled against Aggarwal, Pandya and other cops of the then Banaskantha police.

The police had been interrogating him for the past few days, but he had not revealed any information that might have led to charges being levelled against him.

The CID is still to get the leads in connection with the Maruti car used to bring Tulsi from Ahmedabad and also the involvement of other police officials.

Besides, the CID is trying hard to get closer to the suspended IPS officer, DG Vanzara, and has recorded the statements of two police officials including a police sub inspector to prove Vanzara's role in the Tulsi murder case.Pandya was taken to the scene of crime by the CID team.
